Leadership Team
Ancy Alexander
Director of Mechanical Engineering
Ancy has over 16 years of experience in engineering, project execution, and operations support. With specialized knowledge in autothermal reformers (ATRs), steam methane reformers (SMRs), electrolyzers, and utility systems, he specializes in rotating and static equipment. Prior to joining Penrose, Ancy held roles at Linde Engineering and Praxair. Ancy ensures mechanical systems are designed for performance, reliability, and maintainability. He holds an M.S. in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jamal Ferguson
VP Engineering
Jamal brings over 20 years of experience in hydrogen, CO, and syngas processes. His leadership spans design, control, safety, and operations, with prior roles at Utility Global, Linde, and GE Energy. Known for a systems-level view and practical insight, Jamal ensures that Penrose’s engineering work is grounded in both technical rigor and operational effectiveness. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Stanford University.
Luther Luck
Senior Advisor
With over 30 years of hands-on experience, Luther has led the design, startup, and operation of hydrogen, CO, and syngas plants. He’s held key roles in plant management, maintenance, and control systems, with a deep commitment to field-ready execution. Before joining Penrose, Luther held leadership roles at LDL Automation, Praxair, and Air Products. He ensures every project delivers on the ground—not just on paper.
Nikhil Paranjape
Director of Process Automation
Nikhil has spent two decades designing and deploying control systems for complex industrial operations. His expertise includes programming, commissioning, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) calculations, and panel design. He’s held leadership roles at Tesla and Linde Engineering. At Penrose, he leads automation strategies that elevate efficiency and reliability. Nikhil holds an M.S. in control systems engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Stacey Moore
VP Services and Solutions
Stacey brings over 20 years of experience managing hydrogen, CO, syngas, CO2, ammonia, and air separation operations. With a background in process transformation, safety, and reliability, he’s held leadership roles at Messer and LSB Industries. At Penrose, he focuses on delivering tailored, technically sound solutions that make a measurable impact. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Houston and a Master of Engineering in technical management from Texas A&M.
